Singapore is beautiful with stunning architecture, shows ,zoos and beautiful streets. One of the cleanest and safest places in the world. Wear your shoes on because three days are not gonna be sufficient but I have written down a list of places that shouldn’t be missed when in Singapore.
Gardens By The Bay
Gardens by the Bay is home to 18 of these massive, tree-shaped vertical gardens known as Supertrees. It totally looks like your in a sci- fi movie. They also have a Flower Dome and a Cloud Forest. The best time to visit is in the evening, so you don’t miss the sound and light show, which is a must see attraction. It takes half a day to watch the entire place.
P.S The show got me all teary eyed and I’m so obsessed with the voice that says Ladies & Gentlemen. I miss the voice. I’m already crying!!
The Future World exhibition is one of the best interactive exhibits for adults and kids. 1-2 hours depending on how long you want to spend going through each part. They also have different exhibitions happening every month. Some of their exhibits are breathtaking.
Singapore’s only movie-theme park has exciting loops, sudden turns, breathtaking drops and thrilling near-collisions will make you scream your heart out. Dinosaurs, lemurs, ogres and Egyptian mummies add to the thrills and adventures. You can take pictures and interact with animated characters like Minions, Lion King and many more. If your a Transformers fan, don’t miss out on the ride, its one of the best.
The best aquarium I’ve visited. Huge collections of sharks, manta rays and all kinds of fish from various seas around the world. Minimum three hours required to patiently move around and watch the aquatic animals. Got a chance to see poisonous frogs!! I will put the picture up for you to cringe.
Adventure Cove Waterpark
If your a water baby, you better head to this place. You can take high-speed water slides, snorkel with 20,000 tropical fish over a colorful reef, wade among rays and even come face to face with sharks. You can also swim with the dolphins. Going back to Singapore to do this.
Set in a rainforest environment, Singapore Zoo is home to over 2,800 animals from over 300 species of mammals, birds and reptiles. They have a night safari a lot more fun, especially with group of people and children but the whole experience isn’t something I’d die to relive.
Jurong Bird Park
The best part of my Singapore visit, seeing the Penguins and Blue Macaws. The animals species are plenty to see and you get a feel of their habitats being maintained. Don’t miss the shows. You can walk around and see the birds or take the tram and you can also feed some of the birds.
The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands
We were walking past this place and decided to have a look in here. There is a shallow canal in the middle on the ground floor which you can take a boat ride.It looks like a small version of Venice grand canal. If you love shopping and have money to burn then you will love this place, full of the biggest designer brands you can shop for.
Extremely well built and beautiful. The water fall is so refreshing to see and very impressive architecture and the waterfall changes colors in the night. They also have some cute shops worth checking out. This is adjacent to the airport, you can check it out when arriving or departure.
I have only gone to Chinatown and it was shopping for tourist kind of thing. Kind of disappointing. So we totally skipped Little India and Arab Street. Bugis Street is an actual street shopping paradise, you get some really great stuff for dirt cheap prices.
I hope this has been helpful and if your planning, you know where to go. If any other doubts or if you know other places that I might have missed, you can always comment below. Have a great day! XOXO
